Being a first time Chook owner I find it awesome that there are so many people willing to share information and advice. Here are some photographs of our coop (the whole project with the run only cost us just over 100 bucks), we built it out of old packing crates and recycled corrigated iron. The run is made out of recycled fencing that was being taken out, I know it looks a bit like a prison but it has to keep out foxes and crows, we have planted passionfruit vines around it to soften the edges. Our chooks are happy and so are we.
