We have 4 chickens that have only been laying for about a month, today we had 3 good hard shelled eggs and 2 soft shell ones. does this mean that someone has layed 2 soft shelled eggs one after the other?
we feed them p o l feed and also have a grit box what are we doing wrong?

Thanks for the comment, but the chicken have just started laying and we use Spillers P.O.L pellets as well as scraps. The chicken only lays a soft one now and then and we do also have a grit box.

Someone has told me it could be because she got scared by something??
