Sorry you are having eye problems with this hen. Hope things clear up soon and she feels better.

It would be impossible to suggest any medication for an unknown problem, couldn't suggest something other than an eye wash, and possibly an eye lubricating product.

Eye medications are often antibiotics for a diagnosed infection, but there are MANY troubles that can affect chicken eyes.

I'm guessing that you meant to type "pox" rather than "ox", but not really sure what you are asking there. If you meant Pox, that would generally be a virus, not a bacterial infection. Antibiotics are generally ineffective against a virus, but may help with any secondary bacterial infections that result from a virus.

I wish I could help you, but with no photo of the problem, and no description of the age, general health, or other problems with this hen, it's impossible to recommend any product other than flushing out the eyes with a safe eye wash product.

If you are guessing some kind of Pox virus, I would recommend searching the internet for the name of one & possible treatment, based on all the symptoms you are seeing.

If you are right and this is some kind of virus, it's important to keep this hen away from all other poultry. She may be permanently infected with something she could pass to others, even once she seems well again.

I'm not familiar with avian diseases common in your area, but some diseases can be passed from wild birds to domesticated chickens.

Please write back if you can send a photo or more specific information about this hen. There are several types of discharges that can come from the eyes of a sick chicken, so it's important to know what exactly is going on.
