WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY HEN?

My hen is not feeling good and she vomitted up some yellowish liquid when I picked her up.

Sounds like either her crop was very full & maybe you pushed on her crop when you lifted her?

Her crop could be soured or impacted and not emptying normally, or maybe she just drank a bunch of water that mixed with her crop contents. This could be very normal or she could have a problem. Couldn't say for sure.

Is she acting normally? Does she look well? Keep an eye on her & make sure she is acting OK over the next few days.

If you're concerned you can isolate her and monitor how much she is eating and drinking and if her droppings look normal. If she is bright and alert, eating and drinking with normal droppings, she is probably fine.
